A mother from Texas, Jernelle Larson, lost her family in a car accident. On the 29th of January, 2024, two cars had involved in a collision, in oss County, Ohio. Three people lost their lives in the accident. As the Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers informed, the accident happened near milepost 34 along U.S. Route 35.
56-year-old Deana Early was on the steering wheel of an SUV, where she was on the east on U.S. 35. As she was turning left to Main Street in Richmond Dale, Ohio, a tractor-trailer hit Deana’s car.
The SUV had crashed into a tree and guardrail, and took the lives of 8-year-old Dylan Larson, and 51-year-old Donavan Larson, and Deana Early.
A day after the accident, Jernelle Larson had talked, and stated that Donovan was her husband, Dylan was her son and Deana was her mother.
“It’s unbearable, and it’s not moving … but I’m trying.” Jernelle said.
The mother stated that she is heartbroken because her husband and her daughter will never have their moment, where he supposed to walk her down the aisle. Jernelle also stated that she is heartbroken because her son would never get to attend to his prom or graduation, and her mother will not have the chance to live “the life she deserves.”
“To know him was to love him.” Former coach of Dylan, Dionte Coleman said about his young student.
The community of the Larson family is sharing their support with the grieving mother, Jernelle, and they are standing together during this troubling times.
Dionte stated that Dylan was attending to Culloden Elementary School, and had changed the lives of his friends, as he was a great boy.
A small event was thrown for the secon graders at Dylan’s school, to pay tribute to Dylan. The school had shared an announcement, and offered their condolences to the grieving mother, and friends of the family.
Jernelle’s community is trying to help her, as they created a GoFundMe page for the grieving mother, to help her financially.
On the 5th of February, there was the amount of $21,600 doneted from 380 people.
“I don’t know how I’m going to continue on this journey of life without these 3.” Jernelle shared from her social media account.
“I have no words. You have been on my mind, and praying so hard for you and your family right now. Praying that you can somehow find comfort. I love you sis. Thinking of you.” A person commented.
“I am so sorry! Sending my prayers, love and condolences to you Jernelle Larson that God comforts and strengthens you now and for the days ahead. My heart is hurting. Praying for our blended family. I love you and I am here for you,”
“I am so very sorry. I know words can’t really make much difference, but know that you are in my prayers. We are here for you for whatever you need,”
“I am so heart broken [sic] for you and Mariah. Please know you are in our prayers and we are here to help for anything at all.”
