Cheryl Stewart, an old woman who was working as a lunch lady ath Teton High School, was surprised by a secret Santa, as she was called for an emergency shift for her job.
Stewart was the only money bringer of her household. She was working hard so she would see the month’s end, as her husband was recovering from prostate cancer and lupus, so he was not able to work at the moment.
After she finished her shift at Teton High School, she was cleaning the Forest Service building and the Seminary building.
Stewart also making rolls for the local funerals. She was not complaining as she was incredibly hard working.
As she was a decent human being, everybody was loving the lunch lady. She was an incredible person in their eyes, as she was dealing with rough patches in her life.
She was using her own van to go to her work, but after it broke down, she couldn’t afford to fix it so she was using a relative’s car.
On one morning of December in 2018, she was called from Teton High School, as she was informed about an emergency shift. She immediately rushed to the school, and when she arrived at the cafeteria, a man with Santa hat was waiting for her. The man said, “I’m Nate with East Idaho News. A Secret Santa sent us on a mission today to find you.”
As Stewart was shocked, she had no idea what life brought to her. As Nate Eaton handed her a red box, he said to open it, and added, “There’s a $100 there, and then we have one other small gift for you.”
Then Eaton gave her another box. When Stewart opened it too, Eaton said, “Secret Santa bought you a car.”
Then Stewart started to cry, as she was not expecting this. As she couldn’t believe her ears, her brand new SUV was waiting for her at outside of the school.
“This is going to help me so much. We struggled so much. Oh, thank you so much!” Stewart explained.
Here is the video of the moments Stewart received her gift, let’s watch it!
