Iconic actress, Jane Seymour had some problems before she found love with Joe Lando. Her ex-husband had left her with $9 million debt, and homeless. Through her role on “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,” Seymour had found both love and comfort in her life.
Seymour made her acting debut with in 1969, with “Oh! What a Lovely War,” which led her to act in “The Onedin Line” and “Live and Let Die.”
During the 90s, Jane Seymour appeared as Dr. Michaela “Mike” Quinn, in the “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.”
Through her role in the TV series, she had received her second Golden Globe. Few years after the show was finished, Seymour had talked about the things she experienced before the show.
Ex-husband of Seymour, had left her with $9 million of debt, and she was homeless. She had no money and she talked with her agent that she would accept whatever job she receives.
“They saved my life. I got a roof over my head, I got some money so I could get back on my feet, and my kids could come out to the set and do their schoolwork in the trailer[…].” Seymour said, about the show, “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.”
Seymour and the lead actor of the show, Joe Lando had dated for a while, and ended their relationship before the show was over. As that created some weird moments at the set, now they are over it.
Then, Seymour married with one of the directors of the show, James Keech. She had talked about the moments where Keech was directing the scenes where Seymour and Lando were making out.
In her interview at the Creative Arts Emmys Night 2, 72-year-old famous actress had shared that she and Lando didn’t talked with each other for years, while working on the show, which was difficult for everyone at the set.
As Seymour married for four times, she had stated that Lando is her “closest friend on the planet.” As Seymour had divorced from Keech in 2015, Lando is still married with his wife, Kirsten Barlow, since 1997.
Seymour had shared some picture she took with Lando, which she captioned, “Summers with Sully!”
Seymour also talked about her past relationships, and how she got affected by them. Seymour shared that she found out that the best thing is to let go after a relationship was broken, and she stated that it is important to communicate in co-parenting.
Along with her ex-husband, they had welcomed their twins Kristopher and John. She also had a son and daughter from David Flynn, Sean and Katherine.
