A student from the Watford City High School in Watford City, North Dakota, Dakota Wollan, had took his 92-year-old grandmother with him to his senior prom.
Wollan decided to ask to his grandmother to come with him to his senior prom, and he was nervous even though she was his grandmother.
“I have this old truck she gave me, it’s a 1985 ford she handed down to me and I got it running again. So, I took that truck and made a sign,” Wollan said to KFYR.
Madeline Miller, Wollan’s grandmother had accepted to go with her grandson, as she said, “I had never been to prom before.”
“I was just wondering why he would want a 92-year-old going to prom with him when there are so many young girls in the school,” Madeline also stated.
“We walked out on the floor, and everyone just went wild,” Wollen said.
Madeline described the best parts she liked from the prom as, “walking beside my great grandson, listening to this music as we walked and people clapping and hollering.”
