Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid, the widowed wife of David Bowie had paid tribute to her late husband, David Bowie’s 8th year of his passing.
Iman had shared her post on Instagram to pay tribute to Bowie on the 10th of January. She had talked about the never ending bond they shared.
In her post, there was a winged human figure, on a black and white canvas. “January 10th… Eternal Love #BowieForever” Iman had captioned her post.
She had posted another picture for her late husband’s birthday, on the 8th of January too. She had used the same hashtag.
On the 10th of January, 2016, David Bowie had passed away, due to his long lasting fight with cancer. Bowie had fought against the disease for 18 months. The announcement of his passing came from his Facebook account. In the announcement, they revealed that Bowie was surrounded by his family, and loved ones.
Iman had talked a lot after her husband’s passing, as she stated that she would never be married again, as even though her husband was not here physically, he will be always her husband.
“I definitely feel his presence, especially when I look out over the glorious sunsets at our home because David loves sunsets,” Iman said.
“So, in that way, he is ever-present. Through my memory, my love lives.”
“David said it was love at first sight,” Iman added for their first meeting, which was a blind date.
“If David was not in my life, I don’t know if I would have had the courage to start Iman Cosmetics,” Iman had concluded.
