A woman had shared on the social media platform Reddit that her mother-in-law ruined their Chirstmas celebration.
OP shared that after she started their relationship she found out how terrible was her partner’s mother. But she didn’t thought that the mother-in-law would affect her own children.
OP shared that her mother-in-law had an addiction for pain pills, anti-depressants and was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She also found out that the old woman was also suing people for the things she would experience at their property.
At the third year of their relationship, OP became pregnant. After their son was born, her mother-in-law started to visit them occasionally.
OP shared that her mother-in-law wanted to take her grandson for overnight, and OP refused that she is still breastfeeding her son. The mother-in-law went livid, and she called Children’s Aid, and said that breastfeeding her grandson is scarring him.
At the same time period, OP’s partner lost his job, and was taking it’s toll of the OP, where he was abusing her verbally. Her partner didn’t even looked for another job. After that, they welcomed two more children, which she was both working and caring for their children.
As she started to save money for her children, she later left her partner, and the terrible mother-in-law.
At the third year, OP was finally able to live alone with her children. OP explained that one Christmas her mother-in-law had brought toys for all of her grandchildren, which the children loved playing with.
Two days later, the mother-in-law came back, and she took back the gifts she brought for her grandchildren. She took everything back, and said that she is taking them back because she got no money left.
Then his partner had shared a terrible information with the OP. He stated that he was cheating on her, and he explained that he is in need of help. The woman left her partner after she saved enough money, and the partner went to counseling.
After that, the man had married with the woman he was having the affair, and three of them had filed a restraining orders against the mother-in-law.
