76-year-old legendary actress Sally Field had an illustrious career, where she had many romances with the characters she gave life to.
The successful actress had appeared in many great titles, such as, Gidget, The Flying Nun, Smokey and the Bandit, Forrest Gump, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Erin Brockovich.
Field was born in Pasadena, California, in 1946. She had a terrible childhood, where she explained the things she went through in her memoir. Field revealed the horrendous things her stepfather did to her, and she had an abortion which was hidden from everybody, when she was 17.
Field is still continuing with her career. In 2020, she appeared in the Dispatches From Elsewhere, as Janice. And in 2022, she starred in Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, as Jessie Buss.
As she is working actively in her career, she is also appearing in many interviews. In an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Field had revealed the worst kiss she experienced in her career.
After she received the question, Sally Field said, “Oh boy. Shall I really name names here?”
“I think you should,” Andy Cohen resonded.
“Okay. This is going to be a shocker. Hold on folks.” Fields said.
Then she explained the worst kiss as her ex-boyfriend, Burt Reynolds. Then Cohen asked, “But weren’t you dating at the time?”
And Field explained that they were working on “Smokey and the Bandit” and she had to “look the other way.” Sally Field stated that because what happened “just was not something he really did for you.”
“Isn’t that something,” Cohen was surprised.
Sally shared that there was some “drooling” while she was at the scene with Reynolds.
They met in 1977, in the movie, “Smokey and the Bandit,” and their relationship lasted for five years. When Reynolds was at the age of 82, he passed away due to cardiac arrest. In his memoir, But Enough About Me, Reynolds talked about his relationship with Field.
Reynolds shared that he would like to work harder for his relationship with Sally Field.
And Field had talked with Variety, about why her interest decreased towards Reynolds. “He was not someone I could be around,” Field said. “He was just not good for me in any way. And he had somehow invented in his rethinking of everything that I was more important to him than he had thought, but I wasn’t. He just wanted to have the thing he didn’t have. I just didn’t want to deal with that.”
