Sally’s son Connor was marrying with his dream girl, Carrie. When he brought Carrie to his mother’s house, Sally welcomed her with open arms. But she did her research about Carrie too, and she found out that Carrie was a decent girl. She didn’t asked for expensive gifts, and she was a humble woman.
When Sally went to meet with Carrie’s parents she was shocked when a luxury car arrived at their house to pick them, and that Carrie’s father was the owner of a renowned company.
When she asked to Carrie’s mother about how does Carrie was that humble with that amount of wealth, her mother explained that they wouldn’t give Carrie money for everything, but for only to start her own business, and of course for the dream wedding of their daughter.
As Carrie stated that she didn’t had anything on her mind for a business yet, Connor’s eyes shined. He was dreaming of a tech company for years, and through his wife, he would have a financial chance.
When Connor explained his ideas to Carrie, she immediately agreed with him, and they were more excited about their business, rather than their wedding.
As the wedding was coming closer, Sally noticed that Carrie was acting different than she used to be for Connor’s business ideas.
When Sally asked if something was wrong, she dismissed Sally’s concerns. At their wedding day, Carrie was seemingly anxious. Sally noticed that the maid of honor, Susan, was talking with her son, Connor.
They were arguing, and Sally was worried if something was wrong. She was feeling bad about the day.
Then the time for the speeches arrived, and when it was the turn of the maid of honor, Susan, she raised her glass.
“Carrie. You’ve been my best friend for years and years. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about myself. This whole thing… it has to stop. Connor and I have been having an affair for months!”
As everyone was shocked, Carrie started to laugh. “Wow, Susie,” she said, “Thank God you had it in you to confess. I thought I’d have to do the talking myself!”
“You see,” she stand up. “I knew you two couldn’t be trusted from the way you looked at each other. So, I installed hidden cameras in the house. And what do you think I saw? Two lovebirds in my love nest!”
“Thanks to my dad, we were able to draft a nice prenup agreement, that my soon-to-be hubby signed without reading. Well, in case you’re curious about what you signed, infidelity will leave you with nothing to your name!”
“But don’t worry guys! I laced your pieces of cake with a slow-acting laxative! Enjoy your first night together, bastards!”
