After the divorce of Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, are struggling with co-parenting, over their children, River Rose and Remington Alexander Blackstock. The children are seeing their father for a few days in a month.
Clarkson talked about her parenting, and she stated that until her children are 18, they will stay away from social media. Clarkson stated that she wanted to protect her children from the social media, as it might hurt them as they have famous parents.
When it comes to where the children are staying away from social media while they were living under their father’s roof, “Well, you’re there four days a month,” Clarkson said to her daughter, “Enjoy that.”
As Clarkson has rules in her parenthood, she doesn’t call heerself a helicopter mom, and she is enjoying her children’s independency.
Kelly and Brandon’s divorce got finalizerd in 2022, where Clarkson received the primary custody of her children, and Brandon had received a week in a month, to see his children. Clarkson was also judged to pay spousal support to Brandon, $115,000 a month, and a child support of $45,600.
And Clarkson also had to pay $1.3 million as a settlement payment.
